Remember Woodlands Secondary School? This land has become a farm school instead, transforming outdoor education. Here, students are learning to grow, harvest, and preserve real food while diving into BC’s curriculum in a living classroom. This no‑till, sustainably managed farm gives students hands‑on lessons in seasonal cycles, mental wellness, food literacy, and even supports school meal programs. Plus, it’s one of only a few school farms in the province.
We are proud to spotlight this inspiring community initiative that helps grow healthy minds and healthy food in our own backyard. 🌿💚
