Get ready to dive into one of Nanaimo’s favourite holiday traditions – the 66th Annual Polar Bear Swim! Join us on December 26th at Departure Bay Beach (Kin Hut) for an afternoon of community fun and chilly courage. Registration opens at 11:00 AM, with the big plunge happening right at 1:00 PM.
This year, we’ll also be collecting donations for the local food bank, so if you’re able, please bring along a non-perishable item to support families in our community. To keep everyone warm and well-fed, Grouchy Goat Coffee and Jack’s Grilled Cheese will be on site serving up delicious treats.
