I can officially celebrate! Over a year ago, I was invited by the Canadian Real Estate Association to interview for a contract position helping develop a training course for Realtors across Canada. While I wasn’t looking for more work, it was a unique opportunity I couldn’t pass up.

After a lengthy interview process, I was selected to help create a course focused on serving senior clients with compassion, care, and understanding. My early mornings, evenings, and weekends were spent developing content that encourages Realtors to slow down, listen, and provide thoughtful guidance during what can be one of life’s biggest transitions.

The course highlights the importance of planning for future needs, understanding the emotional impact of leaving a long-time home, preparing clients for changing market conditions, and ensuring they have the support systems in place to make moving as smooth as possible.

I’m proud to share that this project is now complete and available to Realtors across Canada. It has been an incredible opportunity to contribute to our profession and help raise the standard of care for seniors navigating their real estate journey.

On a personal note I sold my house and bought another (a whole 2 blocks away haha), I sadly said goodbye to my dog Jesse (my bestie), and I am actually so close to finally closing out the permit for my lake cabin that I built years ago but haven’t had time to finish.
